  15. hello everyone,
  16.     i am writing a low level fax modem software. I am not getting a 
  17. <cr><lf>OK<cr><lf> after CONNECT<dle><etx>. I am using blocking read on the serial 
  18. device, so my task gets suspended waiting for modem to send <cr><lf>OK<cr><lf>. 
  19. ( I dont have non-blocking or timeout reads available).
  20. After the fax session fails, i sent AT command to the modem and it sent back OK.

  22. The modem doesn't do this all the time. the problem is inconsistent. So anyone has 
  23. come across similar problem, please give me some pointers. I dont have any line 
  24. problems because i am using a telephone line simulator.
